Spur of the moment our new collection for 2019  is released on the 20th of March.

Why spurs?  The answer is simple our customer base comes from the Horse racing, Eventing, Dressage, Show jumping and  Hunting Equestrian world. Most of but not all of these riders use the blunt spur as an aid to fine tune their mounts . Although a very small part of their equipment, they are something that can make a big difference on the day. Over the years the Spur has had some bad press, often quite rightly so. Today things are very different, used well a Spur can improve your performance. I thought it would be very positive  to make  some jewellery to reflect how important these little items are in the riders tool kit. The collection will include a fairly full range including a new stock pin and cuff-links along side the usual earrings, pendants bracelets, etc Please note we have kept true to our farriers nails within the design.

I held a competition on Facebook and at Kelso Racecourse to name the range with some great entries from "Inspured" very punny to  "Impulsion"and "Tally Ho" but I felt "Spur of the moment"said it all.
Firstly it Incorporated the word "Spur" and secondly suggested an impulse buy or two! On a more  personal level, recently I was  described  as Gung Ho having given this some thought, I do  have to agree. However  if i were less  of a "Geronimo" Jump  girl there would be no Tarrag Naegel To find out why come back next week when the  I plan to talk about how we came to be!

Thank you for reading our blog and don't miss us this week At Kelso Racecourse on the 14th for Morebattle Hurdle Day!
